Your chance to purchase a unique, newly-released limited-edition art print of Celtic Park, Glasgow.
The print shows the front of the main stand at Celtic Park, with the north stand looming from beyond. In the centre is the statue of Jock Stein with The European Cup. In the left foreground is the statue of Brother Walfrid, founder of Celtic Football Club, and in the right, the statue of Jimmy Johnstone.
Each print is unique - printed in Glasgow on 250gsm silk paper, individually numbered between 1 and 1888 and hand-signed by the artist, Philip Lardner. The prints are embossed with our security seal and come with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that the image above is a photograph of a framed print, configured for internet browsing - the actual print has finer detail and quality - and doesn't have 'copyright' written across it either! (really, some people have asked with other prints...)
This is a genuine, single-edition lithographic print from a one-off series limited to 1888 prints worldwide. Prints and certificates come unframed in a robust postal tube. Once you receive your print you can opt to have your print bespoke-framed to your personal choice, but for ease of framing the prints are sized to fit standard IKEA frames and mounts - IKEA have many styles of frames with an inner mount visible area of 29cm(H) and 39cm(W) which are ideally suited to your print and are very reasonably priced.
Image (i.e. the recommended frameable) area approx (H)29cm x (W)39cm, and overall paper dimensions approx (H)34cm x (W)45cm.
Prints cost £29.50 each or £55.00 for two, which includes packaging and worldwide postage. UK postage is by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery using 'track and trace'.
If available, we can supply the print number of your choice between 1 and 1888. To reserve, or enquire about a particular number please email us at sales@tholos.co.uk. If no special instructions are received at point of purchase we will assume that you are happy to be provided with a random number in the series. Obviously, once a number has been allocated, we cannot issue that number again, so please check availability in advance if your choice of number is crucial.
Certain numbers in the series are only open to offer and priced upon application; these are as follows: numbers 1-11, 67, 87, 88, 1887 and 1888.
